Default Help!

okay so im done polish and waxing my car with a bunch of products... first i was the car, dry it really well. then i put maguiars (i dontk now how to spell the brand) paint cleaner, turtle wax polish/scratch remover, and maguiars cabreuna wax... and i take it out into the sun and i see STREAKS! i have a super black coupe and now its like a 2 toned black.. what do i do?! i did all this by hand and let the cleaner and polish sit for maybe 10 minutes... and i did 2 coats of polisher...... and to top it all off, not all the scratches are off.... ...somebody please help......

You used Meguiars Carnauba wax, might have put it on too uneven and thus you got scratches, try any of these to even out the finish:

1. Wash and dry the car with car wash soap
or
2. Go over the paint with a detailer spray
or
3. Mist the paint with plain water and buff that off

If you were using a true polish you do not want it to sit and dry on the surface. A cleaner wax is a difference story.

Most polishes are abrasive and intended to remove blemishes and not be layered or coated and left to dry.

I'm not sure exactly what you did but washing, as Kevin said, would probably be a good first step.
