Springtime with a Super Black Z

The morning clouds make for beautifully wonderful lighting. Four layers of Z-5 and a couple of Z-2 with Z-6 and Z-8 finishing touches. I'm still working on the finish ...

Roof shot - it's hard to tell what color the car might be under all that green.

Hood shot - you can see the details in the leaves pretty well even at this reduced resolution.

And just to prove it's a car and not a mirror.

First I cleaned with a clay bar and the Zaino car wash. Then a layer of Z-5 with ZXF, then a Z-2 with ZXF ... repeated both ... then two layers of Z-5 with Z-6 on top, then two layers of Z-2 with Z-8 on top. Now I'm just doing maintenance with Z-6/-8 cleanings.

I do wear a bra when I take it out on the highways to protect the front end.

Just received my kit from Zaino.

Now I need a garage with a hose to clean the car and prep it !

What kind of towel did you use to buff the car between coats ?

I can't help you with the garage but as far as the towels go I use some good quality Cannon 100% cotton bath towels. They're white so that the wife doesn't mix them in with the household stuff. I have her clean them with liquid All detergent and stack them in the garage.

I love my Sunset but only the SB seems to capture the essence of a true mirror with the color matching as well as reflection properties...all my hard work and 15 layers of Zaino just don't make the mirror look...well maybe:
