Default cleaning interior

What do u guys use to clean ur interior? I'm nervous about the door trim panels b/c they have that textured material and i don't want any discoloration or i'm afraid if i use a towel that it will leave little fuzzies everywhere!! lol I was thinking armorall (spelling is probably wrong) and maybe like an old cotton tshirt to wipe it off, but i was wondering what u guys had success with. Thanks homies!! haha

Water on a microfiber towel to clear the inside surfaces. Then protect them with 303 Aerospace Protectant. NEVER spray anything directly onto the interior surfaces, they will look splotchy. Always spray onto a cloth then wipe it onto the interior. That will get a more even distribution and prevent the splotchy look.

DO NOT use the Tech Protectant!!!!!

I tried it on my driver's side door panel and now I have some slight splotchiness/discoloration and I can't seem to get rid of it.

I have had better luck using 3M Electronics Cleaner from the computer store.

I used the Meguiars NXT Tech Protect and a microfiber hand mit (for interior detailing) this past weekend. I was very impressed with the results. I received some comments on how well the interior looked. It's been 5 days and it still has an incredible shine and I highly recommend both these items.

IMOZ is right, however. Be careful using on the doors! I got a great shine, but some blotches.

Did you spray it directly on the door? If so, that's the problem with TP or any other treatment you might try. The dimpled surface of the door and interior holds liquid and does not allow it to be spread easily. You have to spray stuff onto a cloth then squeeze the cloth together to distribute it around then apply it to the door or interior. That helps reduce the blotchyness. To get rid of blotchy spots on the door, wash it with soapy water using a microfiber or terrycloth towel.

Me too. Well, in my infinite stoopidity, I got all enthusiastic and put Armor All on my door panels. A mistake of Biblical porportions ! Now I too, have that dreaded "splotchiness" that seems to be here to stay. Now, I wish the door panels were just dead "flat"... that is, no gloss at all.

I actually did use a cloth to apply it to the driver's side door. Maybe I didn't use enough. or I did something else wrong/wrong kind of cloth. Regardless, I will try the soapy water and microfiber suggestion to get rid of it, thanks!

megs interior quick detailer - spray onto mf towel & wipe - done....cleans and protects in one shot...if you want a hi-gloss finish this is not want you want...if you want a brand new fresh from the factory look, this is your stuff - smells great too - sold at most auto stores probably even wally world

to clean any previous mistakes on door panels try dampend mf towel with water and degreaser(I use heavily diluted simple green & water)

Never use armorall on anything except a cat that you hate!!! Checkout Protective Products Cleaner/Protectant. (www.protectiveproducts.com). I've been using it on my interior and ragtop for months and really like it. Can't say the same for the exterior polish, but that's a differnt thread.
+1 or 2 or 3 on not spraying any product onto the door panels. Spray a clean microfiber towel w/ the product you select and wipe gently. Splotches don't happen this way.

Forgot to include a phone # for PPC. 1-888-772-1277. Dean is an interesting guy to talk to, and I learned a lot from him. I'd call him just for the experience and fun.
