Thx!
That "gooseneck" phone holder is LONG gone. Got rid of it at least two years ago. It came with the phone I got from Cellular One.

I do find that the chips bounce off better. I may not have less marks from them but the older ones do seem to be less noticeable. I also like to think that the protection of Zaino's many coats creates an aero dynamic glide that has a "forcefield" like quality. As I drive the rocks are caught-up in this "jet-stream" and miss my car completely....

Oh wait, was that my dream???

LOL

BTW: Yoda has excellent taste in liquer!! JD and Zaino life's best!!

Good christ...that is absolutely amazing.

Is Zaino really going to be beneficial with a lighter color, like PPW? Also, i've used Meguiars gold class before and it honestly seems like the smooth-ness and glossy ness literally fades everytime I wash it (I use Meguiars gold class car shampoo too!) So I'm sorta concerned about what i'm doing. Also, the front end of my grand am is torn the eff up, will the combination of 3M clear bra and Zaino work? Or do you guys prefer one or the other?

Also, is Crystal Guard any better or worse than Zaino? I'd like to think i'm pretty good with this detailing stuff but i'm definitely still learning.

You will be shocked how much Zaino can help pull the PPW flake out...take the plunge, it is well worth it.

Until ZDayz this year, I had never Zainoed a PPW Z (or ANY white car for that matter). I had the opportunity to do so during one of my detailing sessions this year. I was truly amazed at the result. The metallic flecks were awesome after we did a really quick Z-7 wash, claying, Z-8 misting, Z-2 polishing, and final Z-8 misting.

I was really impressed at what Zaino could do with this color.

I'll give you three reasons:

1) Any wax will melt off your car in the summer sun, leaving the paint unprotected. If you want to wax your car every week, stick with the Zymol. If you want your paint protected for six months or more, you should switch to a polymer like Zaino.

2) What happens when you get wax on black rubber? Does your Zymol leave nasty and maybe permanent white stains on your black rubber? Zaino provides the same benefit to the rubber (and the glass) as it does the paint; it seals it and makes it shiny and bead water.

3) How easy is your Zymol to get on and off? My Zaino is wipe-on, wipe-off. No scrubbing necessary.

Bottom line, even if you like the deep look of a wax more than the highly reflective look of Zaino, I think you're better off putting on a good base of Zaino and then putting the wax on top. Wax goes on top of Zaino beautifully and at least you know it's protecting your car even in the parking lot under the full summer sun.

I don't think I would put my Z-2/Z-5 on any part of rubber on my Z!

It does hold better than anything I have ever tried though, thats a cold hard fact!

I am truly hooked on this product and in love with my Roadster, can't you tell

i just start to use Zaino last week. I have 2 coat of Z2 and 2 coat of Z5. So each week, when i wash my car with Z7, i apply another 3 coat of Z2 and Z5 again? Is that all i need to do?
