I was wondering how you guys clean inside the nissan emblem. It's pretty hard to stick a towel in there, and it's beginning to build up some crap in there.
I'm not sure if i explained what i want to clean properly...it's the 2 half circles within the circle of the nissan sign.

I keep an old 2" paintbrush (Home Depot to the rescue!) just for that very purpose. Pick one with very soft bristles and never use it for anything else. When washing the car (any of them), I keep it handy to clean around "lettering" and other things like the Nissan emblem - just dip it in the [soapy] water, or run water from the hose over the emblems and clean 'em out with your trusty paintbrush.
The best way to remove an emblem is to snake some dental floss between the emblem and the tape that holds in it. You can work it around to cut the emblem loose. Once you get enough of it loose, you should be able to pry it off. Use a blow-dryer to heat the sticky tape or residue left on the car to soften it and you should be able to pick it off with your fingers. Some people have reported that using products like Goo-Gone works good to remove the tape residue too.
