I have had my clear bra from Krinkov installed for about 2-3 months now but have noticed a problem. Whenever birds crap on my car, if I don't wipe it off within the first 20-30 minutes the bird crap seems to etch directly into the clear bra creating a yellowish tinge in it (like if I leave the car and go eat lunch and come back an hour later it's too late). What's wrong?? Has anyone else had this problem? I zaino AND wax my clear bra so i'm assuming there must be some sort of protection on it. Also, i've tried to buff out the yellow but it seems as if the clear bra is absorbing the acids in bird crap. Do other clear bra materials NOT from 3M do this?

 

I've heard this will naturally fade and vanish over the coarse of a few weeks.

 

One of them has been there for about 1 month now and doesn't seem to show any signs of fading.. Any other answers to this problem? I don't want my entire clear bra to turn into spots of yellow.

 

I've had a couple bugs splatter and leave yellow/orange spots, but they disappeared after a couple weeks. It might help to leave the exposed area out in the sun for a little bit.

 

Yeah Chris, there was a thread on this a while back, but organics wont bond permanantly with polyurethane, the sun/heat usually cooks out the stubborn ones in a few weeks but in the colder months it might take a bit longer

 

The guy who installed mine in Indy said he talked to 3M about bug stains that wouldn't come out. He said they told him to try diluted rubbing alcohol (1 part alcohol, 2 parts water), and it worked great getting some orange bug stains out.

I havn't needed to try it myself, and I won't guarantee it works, but this is what he told me when I asked him about your situation. If you try it, let us know if it worked.
