What would you use to keep a Super Black clean?
Hey fellow Z-heads
I was just wonder in your opinion what would be the most reliable product to use to keep a Super black cleaning and shining like new? Also is their any specific way to wash the car to get optimal appearance?

Oh... you've opened up a can of worms!! lol.
The regular stuff -
TurtleWax Car Wash soap
Any tire dressing
Wheel cleaner - not necessary
1. The Easy Way
Meguiars Gold Class wax
3 months coverage
2. The Easy but better way
Zymol wax OR Klasse all-in-one
layer wax on wheels
Zymol - 3 months coverage - very clear paint!
Klasse - 3-6 months coverage - SHINY!!
3. Best Way
Specialty waxes like Blackfire or Zaino
A few more steps than above, but will last longer and
should bring out a deeper shine. Zaino is probably
the most time consuming with bazillions of coats going
on... it's a never ending process.
Take your pick! I've moved up to Blackfire.

Maintain it weelkly. You don't have to polish or wax it everyday to keep a black car clean. Not that you have to do this but here is an example of what I do and it only take 45 to 60 minutes to do maybe not even that long but I'm ****.
After a full day of detailing and I try to do a full detail once a month I maintain my "Z" but I'm sure like my other vehicles I've owned I'll slack off a little bit. But I try to do my best keeping up the appearence daily.
Even if I can't spend a full day detailing my "Z" I do wash it at lest once a week sometimes twice. However every morning I get up have a cup of black coffee and with a clean microfiber magic towel lightly dust over the surface, but befor I do this I carefully inspect the surface for any elements that may cause damage. After inspecting and lightly dusting the surface I used a QD as in my case "Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray" lightly mist over one panel at a time. Grab a new microfiber detailing towel and buff to a lustering shine. Wheather your have a carnauba or acrylic/polymer wax, there are dozens of QD's to do the trick. This takes me about 20-25 minutes weach morning. After that I dress my tires with 303 break-out my Metro Vac' and dry my tires so the dressing doesn't sling off when I leave for work. The other thing I do is take the California dash duster and go over the interior. Finished for the day!

I'd say ZAyno it one good time and that normally makes it so smooth that you can actually use a "California Duster"to get the normal Pollen,Dust etc,..but should also bead up water as well.
My Old RSX-S was Black and the Dealership put one of those damn $500 coatings on it that I didn't really want,..and it turned out very smooth for a long time and gave me the stuff they used to do it again in 6-8 mths!Kinda like Zayno
Now On my Z,..that same coating was $900--->I got *** raped on that-when all it is,is probably a $50 bottle of Zayno and their gettin $850 to pocket,..Damn NIssan and all car Manufacture's,..thats the new gimmik to tack on a couple more $$$ to the price of the car,.cuz it got me!
My cars Pikes Peak.I love white!,.its pretty simple to keep clean!
