scratches *Ouch*!

How did someone scratch the car this low?

It doesn't look like they hit you with the car, but probably with the side of a purse or a metal button. Jostling keys would probably do that to. I guess the two worst scratches could be from a door.

I have some similar scratches on the side of my integra. I have tried Meguiars ScratchX which did nothing. I have also tried 3M Swirl Remover without any luck either. Time for some touchup paint or take it to a professional shop and see what they can do with an orbital polisher

I have some touch-up paint I bought from the Dealer when I bought the fuel door (the fuel door's come pre painted) but last time I used this stuff (years ago) I made it look worse than it is.
Big unsighlty uneven globs.

Perhaps I will pay someone to buff it, polish it, coat it and paint it with this touch up paint. Then cover my poor baby!

I am short of funds till after X-Mas.

 

Your damage isn't as bad as mine was. Just take it to a reputable body shop and have them touch it up, wet sand, and polish. It shouldn't cost more than $50 or so.

What part of Sac are you in? I was hit by debris along Highway 50 Westbound, between folsom blvd and sunrise.

 

I live right off I5 North just prior to I80 (heading out towards the airport by Arco Arena where the Sacramento Kings play.
