Default HELP!!! spilled gas all over my trunk!!!

went to the gas station tonight around 8pm and when i was about to fill up, the nozzle squirted gas all over my trunk(windows and body of my car) before i could it in the gas tank!?!? i went home as soon as i could, 10min max...and then i thoroughly washed my car and then used meguiars wax afterwards on the trunk area. do u guys think this could possibly ruin my clearcoat/paint? btw, while hauling *** on the way home 2 guys in a 300c thought they could take me out on a 30mph roll but i ended up smoking them by like 10 cars!!!

For the short time the gas was on there, probably all it did was strip some of the wax off. It probably wan't long enough to damage the paint. Since you washed and waxed it, the affected area is clean and protected again. I wouldn't sweat it...

Probably the quickest way to get the gas off is to find the water hose at the station & hose the gas off.

Man, I feel for ya; as much time as I spend washing/waxing the Brick I'd have heart failure if that happened! LOL!

If gas would remove/hurt paint there literally would not be many cars driving around that did not have huge missing areas of paint, it will not hurt the paint as long as you get it washed off fairly quickly.
