Default Exhust Tips

My exhust tips are really bad, they have no shine left on them. I found out from Nissan that they don't sell them separatelly. Does anyone know a place that makes replacement tips or a good cleaning solution.

I'm sure any muffler or auto accessory store has exhaust tips. Some cheap and some not so cheap. With that being said, if you want to retain the stock look, I have the stock tips off my Coupe. You would have to have them welded on by a muffer shop. Let me know if you're interested.

Mine were like that too and I couldnt even polish them with a cloth and cleaner..

SO I tried one last time to clean them with Turtle Wax Chrome Polish and a Brass Wire Brush.. Worked like a champ and saved me a bundle.

Just be sure to scrub with a modest amount of presure, Being brass it didnt even scratch the chrome where I could see. Its been butter ever since.

Yeah, with chrome polish you can clean anything that's chrome, . I've seen it work magic many times before.

I used chrome wheel cleaner and a lamb wool washing mit. IT works like a charm on the Nismo exhaust.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll give it a try. Why shouldn't the back look better than the front... Just like women.

If they are that bad, try a SOS pad (steel wool with soap in it) and polish them with a metal polish.........

Instead of chrome rim cleaner, use one that says it is safe for all wheel surfaces so that way it isn't too harsh, forgot to clarify

Get MOTHERS metal/aluminum polish. Use it with microfiber towel.
