Unhappy Armorall stains on the headliner.

Don't ask me how (long story ), but I got a good amount of armorall on the headliner and now I have some light rings around where the armorall got on it. It looks fine except some a lightly discolored ring around the area that got wet.

Does anyone know a product or method I can use to get these out of the headliner?

Thanks in advance.

There was an unfortunate Armorall explosion. Long story.

No more suggestions?

I'd just try some warm soap n water. But please tell me you do not use that stuff anywhere on your interior.

You might need to try a steam cleaner, similar to what they use on carpets.

1. Time: do nothing. In time, the Armorall will dissipate (go away on its own).

2. Soap and water: there are very few soaps which I consider safe for use inside the Z. One is Murphys Oil. Just make up a light solution with water.

Steam may break the glue which holds the liner to the roof. Then the liner will fall on your head.

Possible, but considering how hot the roof gets after an afternoon in the sun, I wouldn't worry about it that much. Actually, those cleaners don't really steam the water. They barely get it hot enough to burn you.

The hot water should help dissolve the greasy ArmorAll and the vacuum will draw it away quickly. I think if he just tries water on it, the grease will dissipate and make a bigger ring/stain in the fabric of the roof.

Actually, the first advice to take it to a pro is probably the safe way to go.

Yeah I'm just kind of dealing with it for now. It's really not a big deal it's just one of those things that bothers only you, because it's all you can see. No one else has noticed it. Thanks for the input guys, I'll probably look for a detailing place that does headliners.
