i use them on my my volks, and they are safe.....wat's so good about them?.....i dunno, it it doesn't seem to do much. didnt really solve the stock brake pad dust issue.
i guess it makes the clean up a bit easier but imo, it's sooo not worth the $20

I use car wax on my RH. Works perfect, super smooth like the day I bought them, and SHIIIIINY! I dont trust wheel wax...Meguiars ****, or any other cleaner/polisher, just give me some wax for my clearcoats, lol...

I have been using Wheel Wax on my Nismos for about 6 months. No problems with it. However you get a better shine if you mist some water on them after you remove the wax and then buff them again.

Here's a picture of my front wheels after three weeks.

Actually, I just use Eagle 1 Wax-as-you-wash spray on wax on the wheels. It's inexpensive and wipes off as you dry your freshly washed/wet rims. It leaves no stains on polished lip wheels and painted wheels and I DO experience about 1 week with no virtually no brake dust after long drives; as opposed to just normally drying--without the wax--where the dust builds in just a day or two.

I just started to use Wheelwax on my Volks a little while back and they do seem to shine better and are alot easier to clean. But I didn't pay $20 for it, I paid $8 I think. The dealership I work for part time sells it so I get the discount price, hehe.

Guys, is this wheelwax made by American Racing? I don't want to use the wrong kind of wheel wax on my expensive wheels and ruin the clearcoat!
I just picked up a can from Discount Tire and it says Wheel wax, but made by American Racing.
Please advise, thanks.

I contacted wheel wax directly, and it is safe for my Volks and it is the same product they sell directly. Apparently American Racing wheels is now a part sponsor of the product so now American Racing has their name plastered on the product!
WheelWax said to apply two coats to the front and 1 to the rear. After the second coat, mist the wheels with water and buff the water out. Apparently it will shine the wheels better than the factory shine!

I don't know who makes it but here is their website with a picture of the container. www.wheelwax.com.
I first read about the product in Sport Z Magazine. The website lists the contact info as WheelWax, LLC.

i also bought the wheel wax stuff and think its okay.
check your local nissan parts department because thats where i found the stuff at.
i used the wax on my non clearcoated iforged wheels and it makes them hazy after i buff off the wax so i've stopped using it.
plus the wax wears off after i wash my car about 2-3 times.

Alot of people put car wax or polish on their wheels. I think that also protects the wheels and helps keep the dust level down. However, I don't think regular wax or polish works as well as WheelWax does on wheels. It really depends on how often you clean your wheels and how much dust your wheels get on them. I use low dust brake pads and wash my wheels often so they don't get real dirty. If you use the OEM pads which are very dusty WheelWax will help keep it off the wheels and make it easier to clean, even more so than regular wax does.
