Anyone know how to get sap out of a convertible top?

I have no idea how to get sap out, but I know that driving over 100 with the windows down and the top up puts some serious strain on the seams. I also know that if the seams start coming apart, it's grounds for a replacement top under the warranty. Of course, doing it intentionally would be unethical.

There's some info on cleaning/protecting tops here: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/inf-cabrio.html (The Z tops are vinyl by the way). They recommend Wolfstein's Raggtop Cleaner.
