Default cheap buffers

Hi, I've been wandering these forums ever since I got my Z.. but never had to post.

I am thinking about gettin my first buffer and I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with $30~ random buffers you find at hardware stores: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...0UL&lpage=none

I tried one of those several years ago. Under the right circumstances, they work OK but knowing what I know now, I wouldn't touch my Z with one.

Spend $109 at Lowes and get the Porter-Cable 7336 Random Orbital Sander/Polisher.

Get a velcro backing plate and some Lake Country pads from www.topoftheline.com and you ready to polish.

BTW, what do you want to do? Apply wax and remove it? Polish out swirls? What wax/polish do you use? That has a lot to do with what pads you should buy.

Thank you! I dont plan on doing swirl removals every week or something, maybe every other month.

I will wait until spring as I dont plan on trying to remove swirls in the snow and get a PC
