Wow that looks great. So you washed the car and put straight vinegar on it and rubbed it till the water spots went away? Do you wax after that? And wouldnt your car smell after words?

Yes, wash and completely dry the car. I was able to see all my spots in the sun but I worked in the garage, in a cool shaded area. I used a 100% terry cloth towel and dampened the cloth with vinegar and gently wiped it across one panel at a time. No pressure or force is needed to take out the spots. Do it like you're cleaning your windows. I used a microfiber towel to clean up the remaining streaks of vinegar and polish/wax the car afterwards and it won't smell bad afterwards
although I've heard of vinegar on glass....vinergar on paint can't be good...it is after all an acid...results maybe be nice because you basically melted/stripped a layer of clear coat to reveal a cleaner layer...but paint & clear only go down so far until you hit metal... I woudn't recommend this method...but hey that's just my two cents
Just curious if you read about this on some other forum or where you got the information to do this. My gf's Z is sb as well and has a ton of water spots anyone recomment another method to do the same thing?

Please visit Autopia.org and do a search. You will see that the professional detailers all recommend and use the white vinegar trick regularly.
Autopia.org for detailers is the equivalent of MY350Z.com for us Z enthusiasts.

I wonder if I put Vinegar into a pot with soy sauce, garlic, and boil chicken in it for about 30 minutes I could make a filipino dish called Adobo?
Nice trick though, I'll be sure to try that on my girlfriends black celica.
