Angry Swirls on a Silverstone!

Hey folks, got a few questions for ya. I have a Silverstone Z and I've managed to get some swirl marks on the roof and driver door. I use Meg.'s 3 step wax process, and when I did a search for this problem people said to use a the polish to remove the swirl marks, but the cleaner, which is step #1 said it takes out swirls, not the polish. Any thoughts? Also whats the best drying towel I can pick up at AutoZone or PepBoys??
Thanks,
-jason

JMS350Z,

Just curious, did you use a porter cable polisher with your Meg's 3 step process, or did use it by hand?

As far as towels go, I'm not to keen on any detailing products from AutoZone and Pepboys, check out the Big Blue drying towel, it is great.

I use the same system. The cleaner is more for taking out the contaminants and such out of the paint. The polish should make the surface like glass again. Then the wax goes on top and protects. I took my car to the dealer for some work and they washed my car without my asking. Well, surprise surprise my car has a crapload of swirlmarks. Almost like they just wet the car and wiped it with a dirty rag. Needless to say, I went home, did my wax job, and all was good. As for drying towel, go for the super absorber. Can't go wrong there.
