Default Tree sap

I have the tree sap all over my car
this sap is so clear it looks like rain drops. I tried to wipe it with water during my lunch break ...it feels like glue it just smears
gonna wash after work any suggestion on removal ? wd-40 works well for tar will it work for sap?

Thanks

as wierd as they may sound carb cleaner will do the trick (thats what i use)but dont spray directly onto the paint, spray ont a cloth and rub lightly and then wax afterwards cause it will remove any wax you had on there.
