Question Can you wax the wheels?

1. Can this be done safely?
2. Any benefits?
3. Any negatives?

I'm thinking it may help repel some of the brake dust.

Thanks for any assistance or comments.

Every time I apply any Zaino to the Z (Z-2, Z-5, Z-6), I always apply it to the wheels as well. I have Track so I have Rays. They look great and it does make cleaning the brake dust a lot easier. I can't think of any downsides.

WAXING wheels has little benefit, as the condition the wheels are under will obliterate most of the wax after your first drive. SEALING the wheels with a polymer sealant like Bonz has done is a good idea, as polymer sealants stand up to things like heat MUCH better.

Thanks! What is a good polymer sealant (other than Zaino)?

Same here, Bonz, but I had a flash of inspiration last time I did a coat. Since the insides of the wheels aren't as smooth as everything else (kindof a "powder" finish) I'm gonna use only Z5 in there even if I'm Z2'ing the rest of the car. I'm hoping it will smooth things out & make them even easier to clean. Also, I don't Z6 the wheels, do you? Seems kindof overkill for wheels....

I also Zaino the wheels. The Zaino isn't affected by the heat from the brakes and helps keeping the wheels clean MUCH easier.
