Default Black Z's + swirl marks + claybar = ?

i mean, is black really as hard to take care of as it sounds?...let's say one did have swirl marks on their car, would a claybar help get rid of them? as far as i know claybars are supposed to "fill in" those things right?

A clay bar only pulls contaminants off the paint to get it back to a smooth surface. It doesn't fix damaged paint. It won't remove anything but the contaminants and it doesn't fill anything in.

As far as swirls they can be removed along with some of your clear coat with a buffer and swirl mark remover such as 3M, but be careful.

The other alternative is to fill the swirls. A glaze or wax will fill them in very temporarily or you use a synthetic polymer such as Zaino and gradually fill in the swirl marks until they are no longer noticeable. Of course this only works if you aren't putting in new swirls when you wash and polish your car.
