does a new car need waxing?

 

It doesn't hurt to put some form of protection on your new car. A lot of us obsessive types go through the full process of claybarring it to remove any contaminents from the surface of the paint first. Then of course, we apply our favorite waxes/polishes.

 

If water beads on the surface, no, the wax is fine.
