Default Wolf evolution

I'm looking at the wolf evolution and noah car covers. I cant decide between the two. Can anyone tell me if they have a slot for my antenna or not?? If not, would I have to take it off everytime I put the cover on?? There is only a $20 difference between them. I need it to be good for animals walking on it (cats). Also, if it was good for sun, it wouldnt hurt either. So, which one do you guys recommend??

Assuming you're buying a Covercraft made cover (I believe the vast majority of custom fit covers are made by them), then yes, they do have a pocket for the stock antenna, as well as both side mirrors. I have a Noah cover, bought from bigskycarcover.com, and I am very pleased with it. It is somewhat less bulky than the Evo3/Evo4 covers, but is very effective at blocking moisture. Sun proctection is similar between the two. I paid about $200 for mine, including shipping, and that seems to be the going rate irrespective of vendor.

I have the Wolf evolution fabric cover custom fit for the Z and it does not come with a hole or pocket for the antenna. I take the antenna off each time I put the cover on.

I'm doubtful that even the covercraft covers come with the pocket because the fabric is too heavy for the antenna to support. They usually will come with directions to cut an 'x' into the cover to slip the antenna through.

So, then either I'm a liar, or you can't read.

I can promise you, the Covercraft Noah cover for the Z has an antenna pocket. The fabric doesn't begin to be heavy enough to even sit on the antenna - it just forms a nice little self supporting tent over it.

A little hyper-sensitive are we?

You stated your experience with the NOAH fabric - not the Evolution fabric as I was referencing.

Bottom line - Don't be a dick.

BlueMeany,

Here's a clip, from the www.covercraft.com web site, for the Evolution fabric. It shows that they have the pockets you're looking for. Similar choices are available for their Noah fabric as well.

Sucks, the Wolf website didn't have color choices! D'oh! Oh well, doesn't really matter.
