Default When to strip all Zaino and start over?

So the stuff lasts for six months. But I plan to add a new coat every three weeks. I was planning on stripping the all the zaino off with a dawn wash right before winter hits and putting five fresh coats on for salt protection. Then I would dawn and clay bar again in April. But do I really need to strip all the zaino off?

Well, the dawn won't touch the Zaino. It's not necessary, just a Z-7 wash, clay and wash again followed by some more Zaino is all that's necessary.

You never have to strip Zaino, you just layer on top of what you have, and you can clay anytime you like right over the Zaino if you get paint contamination.

Dawn is never used on the car again after your first application of Zaino.

How would you know if you have paint contamination?

If you keep your paint perfect, you can feel the contaminants with your hand when you wash it.

There might be some other ways to remove Zaino, but Sal said alcohol will do it ...if you ever needed to. Use Z7 as a lubricant with the clay and the existing zaino will be fine.
