I should have been more clear. I was only trying to keep things as simple as possible for someone just getting started. When I was a zaino newbie, I clayed my black car with less than perfect technique and introduced a few swirls to the finish.

But your right, I probably should have mentioned it.

 

Well I got the car today and my neighbors probably think I'm nuts because it was downpouring the same time I was washing the car.

The process isn't hard at all. I follwed the steps here and other places and I now have 2 coats applied.

 

that last shot of the hood looks very wet, nice work. Zaino is the best stuff to use on a silver and white cars imo.
