Zaino . . . 8th Coat
I put my 7th and 8th coats of Zaino on today. Temperture was in the low 40's. Used Z-2 with ZFX and Z-6 between coats. The LeMans Sunset is not as impressive the darker colors.

does zaino protect the car from weather.. bugs.. swirl marks.. ect so its easier to clean off??? or is does it just enhance gloss/finish?? just wondering.. never used the stuff.. but im starting to get sold from that pic.
s9am_me,
Yes to all of your questions. You can layer Zaino, so the more layers you apply, the more protection you get. Also, the more layers you apply the deeper the shine. When applied it leaves a slight film that you wipe/buff off. It buffs off easily. No white residue left around trim work or moulding like most car waxes.

Zonny: I beg to differ. I think it looks great on the LeMans. Only two more and you will be inducted into the DDZC (the Double Digit Zaino Club). As the original member, I will welcome you to this exclusive and honorable club! I'm holding steady at 20 layers since my Z is covered in a garage for the winter. It was 11 degrees below zero last night so no Zainoing for me for awhile. We have about 6-8 inches of snow on the ground and are suppose to get another 4-6 tonight.
I went to the garage where my Z is stored to hook up my new Battery Tender since I have found the Z's battery dead twice already. As I looked at it, all shiney and spotless, I wished I could break it out and ZOOM outta there but alas, The Z, Bridgestones, and snow simply don't mix!

how much does this stuff cost?? i was lookin at some other posts and it looks like they have different products (Zaino 2, clay bar.. ect). How do you know which one to use??
I'm with Bonz... it looks sweet.
I put on my first 3 coats of Z2 last Saturday. I was thinking about doing another 1 or 2 today, but have to fly off to CA instead. Oh well, maybe on Saturday. I also did a trip down to Portland yesterday that almost put me at 1200 miles... almost time to let loose!
Oh, and the claybar. It's SO cool. Never heard of doing this before coming to this site and seeing the nuts here. My dealer didn't even wash the car before I got it, so I saw it in all it's arrived splendor and glory... it was WAY dirty. You definately need to clay first, and then, depending on the condition of your paint do a Z5 or a Z2.
The results ROCK!
