bump on rain-x...when applied properly I don't know how people can do with out it...never used rain-x wipers but I just put the new bosch wipers on the Z...but the Z never sees rain so not sure how they will work out..but look neat tho
When I first used Rain-X, I got caught in a rain storm on the highway the same day. I was amazed at how I didn't need the wipers at all. The wind was enough to move all the water out of the way. I've been using it ever since.
The anti fog works well too, but don't believe that it won't allow any moisture buildup on the inside of the glass whatsoever. It's there, but you can't see it. It works by breaking down the fog so it turns into a sheet of water that one can see through. My only complaint with anti-fog was that it left my windows pretty streaky.

yeh i just applied both...
anti-fog gets window streaked out pretty bad =\
i did what the directions said with rainx ...
apply thin film in circular motion then wait till dry the buff with that cloth thing that came with it...
i bought the squeeze bottle version of the rainx with an applicator and bluff cloth ... so its easier for the n00b

use a microfiber towel, and throw some drops of water on ur windshield and wipe... itll take the streaks out. I'm not a fan of Rain-X only cuz its too good for its own good. Ive rainX'd my car in September of 2005, and it still works.
