Default Anyone Zaino with Clear Bra???

I plan on putting a Clear Bra on my Redline Z and I just ordered the Zaino ShowCar kit. Does anyone have any tips about applying the Zaino before I do the Clear Bra install? Is it ok to Zaino and then put the Clear Bra on?? I think I would only have to apply the Zaino once where the Clear Bra covers?? Hope this is not tooooo confusing.

As long as it is clean under the clear bra it should not matter at all. I don't see how Zaino under the clear bra would hurt anything either. The clear bra should still adhere fine.
After the clear bra is installed you just Zaino it like the rest of your car.

Yes I have Clear Bra and use Zaino.

Coo. I think I will do a couple treatments of the zaino and then put the clear bra on. Did you do the clear bra install yourself 35oz?? Thanks for the input.

Nah, it was actually on my car when I bought it new.

I should warn you though, that Zaino is addictive stuff, be careful with it

Contact the installer you're planning on using (don't do it yourself) and ask them whether or not they want wax on the paint surface.

From what I know, they don't want any wax on the surface to insure that the adhesive bonds properly. I'd put the bra on first, then zaino on the bra

^^^+1 Your installer will strip all of the wax on the serface before putting on the clear bra. You should wax after

Well, I have watched the process done on several cars and they did not strip anything from the body, they just gave it a cursory washing. They spray a light coat of water on before placing the clear bra plastic on and then slide it around to get placement good. Later they heat it up slowly to shrink it onto the car. The coating of water also helps to suck it onto the car and stick. I really don't think the zaino (which is really a polish) is going to matter either way. But I would make sure the bumper is nice and clean before having it done because most installers don't spend too much time making sure its prefectly clean.

I am thinking of trying it myself. I have a variable heat gun and water bottle. I may try the mirrors first. Anyone know where to pick up a Clear Bra kit for a good price. The site that sells em is expensive and the ones on Ebay are only 10 dollars. I dont think the ones on ebay can be that good though seeing that they are really cheap. My nearest dealer is over 250 miles away according to the dealer search on ClearBra website. That wont be happening. I would have a million rock chips by the time I got there.
