if your storm drain has a little symbol of a fish then its illegal to wash your car with chemicals, or wax it, and definitely no oil changing or engine shampoo.

just go at night and take your time washing your car. I make sure to Zaino my car at least twice a year, use the detailing mist in between washes, 303 Aerospace protectant for my interior and exterior vinyl, rubber, tires etc.

I do all the detailing at my apartment complex.

I don't see why you couldn't apply wax on a car. it's not supposed to come off, so what's there go to into the sewer?
