Default Are sheep-skin wash mits clearcoat safe?

I just saw these really soft-looking sheep-skin wash mits at Costco. Seems like they're quite a bit softer than the cotton wash mits I use now (Zaino approved, of course ;-) )
What's the deal with the sheep-skin mit? Is wool a no-no, or should I give it a try?
Thanks,
Mika

I have been using sheep-skin wash mits ever since I got my car back around Sept, 2002. After numerous wash, there are no swirl marks and no visible "damage" on the paint. So, I would say you are safe to try it..

I've used sheep skin mitts for several years on my black Jag and now the Z. Very safe to use. I prefer them to the cotton ones. You can machine wash them too.

The ones a costco, which look really nice, are under $8 per PAIR... not expensive in my book :-)

Hey, i bought some at costco the other day! Very soft and its $8 for 3! A wash mit, a wash rag and a polishing square, a very good deal if you ask me!
