Default washing the springs

yesterday i removed my wheel and fender protector to install the clear sidemarker with white leds, i found that the suspension , springs and the entire area is coated with dirt and salt. is it ok if i take off the wheel and wash the area with water? would it damage my breaks, shocks, even the engine? thx

You can wash any area under there. It won't hurt anything. Got to get that salt out of there asap.
