Smile Car Care

Hello All,
Just got my used Z few days ago. The car is clean but not clean enough for me. First thing i want to do is use Zaino which already on order, I bought the Total Protection Show Car Kit. For the interior i want to use the Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner, the instructions online includes use of water. Will the heated seats be ok with that?? For the plastic and vynil parts 303 will be used. Also there is a little dirt on the headliner, how or what can i use to clean it off? Thanks in advance..! oh yeah.. i did a search no answer on my main question about the heated seats..

I assume their use of water does not involve hitting the seats with a hose, if that's the case then you should be alright with cleaning the heated seats. You don't want large amounts of water on your leather seats regardless if they're heated or not.

If it's just dirt on the headliner, try a damp cloth. If it appears to be a stain or really ground-in dirt, try something like the 303 Fabric cleaner or the one Stoners makes.

Look into getting some of the Stoners Invisible Glass for your windows.

BTW, congrats on your choice of products. It looks like you've done your homework. Check out Autopia (http://autopia.org) for indepth detailing information. They have a free eBook you can download "The Autopia Guide to Detailing" that is an excellent reference source for all kind of products, tip and techniques.

For the headliner I like mild soap and water and a white towel. Lets hope that the prior owner was not a smoker. Then the task will be more serious.

Thanks for the inputs.. I have used 303 and lexol before but it's the first time for me to have heated seats. As for Zaino it will be the first time too, any cautions that i have to take a note of? Anyway, i just got done with the Lexol, 303 and waxing. I used turtle wax for now. Lexol once again did its job and brought the burnt orange back to life... used Coral Blue fabric cleaner for the head liner. i think it was ok, smells good too. THANKS AGAIN! now i'm sore

The key to Zaino is to put it on thin. When applying, all you will see is a light hazing of the surface. If you try to put it on heavy, it will be tough to wipe off.
