Default My Ugly Looking Volk Rim Lips (PICS)

Is there anyway to fix this problem? Its been this for month I couldn't fix it. I have used waxes, polish, all those but nothing really worked. I have used regular soap and water to clean my wheel every week but I don't know why this happened. Can anyone recommand how i can fix this in austin area? Or how to clean your wheel well =(

Find out what the dealer used to wash your car. If they used something they shouldn't have on the wheels, have them buy you a new set.

get a polisher and start working with this stuff. your cleacoat is ruined so you might as well polish them. its gonna take a lot of work and its gonna be a **** to keep them clean. otherwise you can get just the lips chromed.

Agree. Wheel cleaner is great for removing brake dust. Unfortunately it will also ruin the wheels. Best of luck.

Same thing happened to me, but not as bad...the mothers Billet metal polish is what I used with very good results. Got 90% of it off. Granted it took 2.5 hours, but I couldnt sleep at night if I didnt. Give it a try....

wheelwax will get most of it off as well. You have to use it like a polish, but a little easier than mothers to get off.

BINGO! Talk to the dealer but be calm about it! I highly doubt wheelwax will work, as the damage is already done!
