Opinions on supplies
I have a few questions about the fun cleaning products that I'm looking into purchasing. First of all, let me start out by saying that I'll be using these with a Porter Cable 7336SP DA polisher/sander (GF is getting me one for xmas
) At first glance, it is VERY overwhelming with the various pads, cleaners, polishes, etc.
I did a TON of research on autopia and other similar sites. I think that I got a good idea of what I am looking for. The paint is in very good condition still (only 7 months old) so I do not need any real harsh cutting products. There are a few fine swirl marks (damn you DB!!) that should come out very easy. Here are the products that I'm looking at:
Swirl removing:
Meguiar's #9 Swirl Mark Remover
For polising:
Sonus SFX-3 Final Finish Polish
OR
Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze
Final wax:
Blackfire Wet Diamond
(currently using Mothers Reflections liquid wax)
As for pads, I'm probably going to get 2 polishing pads (yellow?) for polishing and scratch removing and a finishing pad (grey/blue) for applying wax.
From what I've been reading about the PC, I cant wait to put it to use for my spring cleaning
