This is what I was talking about.

Zaino on the right, Blackfire on the left.

I know the reflections aren't perfectly symetrical, but the lighting is pretty close and I don't think would lend much to the differences here.

To me the Blackfire reflection looked more fuzzy (the grill area and the ring around the headlights) and didn't seem to pick up the colors around it as well (ie: the white looks more white in the Zaino side, the Blackfire side reflected car looks more orange like the paint).

Least that's what I see.

 

Or his hand could have been shaking a bit more when he took the blackfire picture.

The only shine test is ever going to be accurate is to have 2 identical Z's parked side by side at a meet, where one used Zaino and the other used blackfire. Durability is only going to be tested if no more coats are going to be added. But if you add more coats, you will be able to tell if one product benefits more from repeat usage.

 

2 cars won't work. Identical or not, it's different paint sprayed at a different time. Needs to be the same car.

I think a good test would be the "wheel in the door" picture he did since you'll get a consistant angle.

And I don't think he was shaking. The entire picture would be blurry, not just sections. It also wouldn't have effected the color.

Yea, this is the better of the two examples of the Benz reflection in the Blackfire side shot.

 

It's not which is better, it's which is a closer perspective, but even in that one, the darker areas (shadows in the grill, rings around the headlights) aren't as dark as the Zaino. They are more orange like the paint.

My goal is to get a "Me Pic" like yours Dr. Bonz. I hope this can be done with the Lemans Sunset color. Thats one of the reasons why I bought the Zaino... Your the man Doc!!

Like I've said a dozen times, Blackfire WILL shine as brightly (maybe even MORE brightly) than Zaino. BUT (and this is a BUT bigger than J-Lo's), it WILL NOT LAST AS LONG AS ZAINO!

Zaino is UNEQUALLED in the DURIBILITY tests!

 

OMG! Hell is freezing over, Yoda's ears are frozen and crack. The Dr actually said that Blackfire may shine better than the dreaded Zaino! Just for that I may have to try that stuff.

mkay, people are coming into my office to make sure I'm okay =)

Washed my Zaino'ed car this past weekend - after drying it, it looked like I had just Zaino'ed - amazing shine.

Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to see that mirror like quality that you can see on a Brick or Super Black on the lighter colors - I also have a Le Mans Sunset (which, as you know, really is the best color), but you're not going to dive into the color like like you can on the black ones.

 

Haven't you ever heard of the debate/negotiation tactic whereby the side who obviously holds the CORRECT opinion, will offer up an olive branch to the other side or to put it another way, "throw them a bone", so as to win them over only to FINISH THEM OFF with a lightning quick assault when they least expect it!
