keyed on rear fender

Default keyed on rear fender

its an up and down scratch 6 inches long that is deep. i dont think rubbing compound will help any. any suggestions. my car is super black

if the paints scratched off, you can either
a) get it touched up but wont look perfect
b) get the fender re-painted

If you can feel the scratch with a fingernail, then compound will not help. Your only choice is repaint. From your description, I'd get the repaint will be in order.
