Default Applying Zaino by orbital buffer?

Has anyone done this with success? I have applied my Zaino by hand in the past, but recently bought a orbital buffer to try out. Zaino instructions never have mentioned applying by buffer, so i wanted to make sure this would work out ok.

When you think about the small amount of Zaino that you use to do the car, it seems like you would waste a large amount just getting the polishing pad moist - it would absorb a fair percentage.

Zaino doesn't need to be "worked" like an abrasive polish so a machine won't really help in that regards.

Also, if you're really concerned about swirls, then you want to minimize the amount of rubbing against the surface. Machine application is not the way to go. All it would take is a few specs of dust to get between the pad and the car to introduce a bunch.

There are a few people who have posted here who have used a PC but I think most of us think it's not necessary.

Yea i was wondering about that due to the very small amount of zaino that can cover the entire car. I actually used the Z-PC swirl remover with the orbital and it did a good job overall... reduced a fair amount of scratches for me. Maybe ill apply by hand, and use the orbital to buff.

Removal would probably be the only thing I would try with a PC. I believe that DF Towels sells microfiber bonnets that fit a PC pad that you can use for removing wax/polish.
