California Duster is a must have in the garage. I've been using it on my Z for a loooonnngggg time now. It does nothing to the paint what-so-ever. It is fantastic for inbetween dusting, to remove pollen and small dust.

i have the california duster, but i cant use it on my black z. anywhere it touches it leaves a foggy haze from the parafin wax. im sure it works well on other colors though as i use it on my oem cover before i take it off,lol......neighbors think im crazy, im sure.

i've been using a mop for a month now, about once or twice a week, and haven't noticed any swirling as a result. so just curious.

let your duster sit on some news paper for a couple of days. It'll absorb the excess parafin. This should help.

I have one, stole it from my grandpa when he got rid of his 62 Impalla 409, and if he used it on his car then im sure it's fine. He won a few Super Chevy's best of show and somd the car for over 50K.

Bottom line, if it's a quality product I don't see the harm, just don't use it on dirt, it's means for light dust.

I just bought one two weeks ago, and don't have the ***** to use it on my freshly cleaned SB Z, lol.

I did the newspaper thing though, I'm just afraid it'll streak everywhrere and I'll have to rewash the car.

It works very nicely. But try to avoid using on heavy dust because it will leave slight swirls on paint. I let my california duster out side of house when rain, and all the red paint and parafin wax is washed off and became useless

yep. great product right there. also i donno if they still sell it, but when its dry time after a wash, search for the California Water Blade. its a 100% surgical grade silicone squeegee, forms to the paint and allows u to dry the car in half the time, without having to worry about proper towel drying technique.

between those two products, it makes my life a lot easier.

they sell the california water blade at walmart, In fact i just bought one today. It made drying fast and easy. BIG THUMBS UP

i tried the water blade... your car has to be REALLY clean before you use it otherwise it will leave some scratches on your car.

+1 or if its just a lil dust, i wipe the car softly with a mircofiber towel
