Plastic Bag, Clay Bar question
Everyone,
I have a question:
I put my hand in a plastic bag and ran it over the finish of my new (350z 10 days old), which is always garaged.
It feels like glassy smooth to my bare hand, but in the plastic bag it feels like fine grit sand paper, over the entire finish.
How smooth should it feel? After I use the bar how should it feel.
How do I know if I need to clay or not?
I am having trouble locating a thread on this.
Thanks,
Eric

The plastic bag test is a "before and after" test that you can do just to show how much the claying process really does. If you are feeling the grit, I'd say CLAY AWAY!
Do the test again after and it'll feel like glass.
Do the test again after and it'll feel like glass.
