I typically use Meguiars Gold Class but I had a free sample of NXT liquid so I tried it after doing a Clay Bar treatment. The sample only lasted for about 1/2 of the car and I switched back to the gold class.

The NXT did come off a little eaiser but I think the Gold Class gives a deeper shine on the Super Black color.

sumfknguy, i use nxt on my redline and i have the same exact problem. last time i waxed it, it took me sooo long to get the wax off..it felt exactly how u described it: like it didn't dry. I feel like maybe I apply too much. Next time I'll try and use less, and maybe try using detailing spray to get it off.

The end result is great tho...my redline looks ridiculously nice.

i use the liquid version and it does get tough to take off but it doesn't last that long.

i might start using zaino which i heard is pretty sick. i need to do a good clay job first though.

thanks for the reply man.. i was starting to think i was a tard. i love the end result so much that i dont mind going through the hassle.

i did try to use less and less, nothing ever seemed to work. always felt like it wasn't dry.. and i even tried taking it off earlier and later than norm..

but yes, the end result is ridiculous!!

That's funny, I've got the same problem too. For whatever reason, I've got the hardest time getting it off the hood. I usually have no problems applying it, it's just removing it can be a pain. To try and help I figured......

1. Continuously shake the bottle as you switch to new body parts. That way it doesn't settle.
2. I tried replacing it with a new bottle. I'll let you know how it goes, I'm going to give it a try tomorrow morning.

Maybe it's a redline thing

man.... i tell ya what.. i applied barely enough to cover the surface of the car.. as in it wasn't an even spread.. and THAT still was a PITA to get off..

i thought about the "bad bottle" theory.. let me know how it comes out..

I'm an NXT believer once again! I tried using a thin layer, less than I've ever used before. It went on really easy and also came off super easy. I was really impressed. The car looks absolutely beautiful! I'm not too sure if it was the new bottle or the thin layer, but I'm willing to guess that it was the thin layer.

I took a couple of pictures but they don't do her any justice.
