Default Meguire's Stage1+2 What did I do wrong?

Yesterday I did Meguire's stage 1 scratch remover then stage 2 final polish on my '04 SB ZR and had ONE HELL OF A TIME getting these products removed. I used my PC polisher w/ Lake Country white for the stage 1 and then black for the stage 2.
I couldn't get the damned stuff off without spraying heavily w/ Spray Detailer and wiping until my shoulders were sore, on both stages 1 and 2.
I've always used Menzerna Intensive (when necessary) and Menzerna Final and never had a problem of this sort, and have lots of experience w/ the PC and pads. I just thought I'd give the Meguire's a try.
The end result was most satisfactory, especially after application of NXT paste but, Christ, the cleaning/polishing process was agony and incredibly time comsuming.
What did I do wrong?

Are you talking about the Meguiars Deep Crystal 3 step system? If so these are NOT made for use with the PC. They try out way too quickly and you are essentially dry buffing. Look into getting some #80 and #83, both of which are optimized for use with the PC.

Yep, it was the deep crystal system. I didn't see a prohibition on the directions against using them w/ the PC. Thanks for the info. Now I know.
