What do you use to clean the door panals?
I use Armorall on the black leather (shift ****, steering wheel, ect), but am not sure what to use on the panals, such as the door panels, the top of the 3 guage cluster, ect.
I cleaned the armrests and some of the chemical got on the door panels, and it's very obvious there was a chemical there, so how do I clean that/get rid of it??
Ooops sorry, didn't see the other thread with the same question... Mod Please Delete This!!

#1) Don't use amour all.. that stuff is foul.
#2) For light duty... just use a damp microfiber towel
#3) For protection use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It does not blotch up bad on our panels if you spray it on the towel, and not the door itself.
303 can be used to dress your tires and all your interior surfaces. The stuff is awesome... and gives a clean, matte finish.
No slinging, never dry, silicon crap like AA

I used 303 and sprayed it on the towel, then applied it to the door panel and it still left spots. Went over the doors a couple of times to make sure I hit every area, but the spotting remained. Works excellent everywhere else though.

The door does look a little spotty when first applied, but as the 303 dries matte... it looks fine.
Personally I still think a damp MF towel works best.
I don't wipe the panels in full unless they have skin oil on them, etc.. I just wipe the scuffed areas, and use the MF to dust more then anything.
At the autocross this last weekend, it was hot and sunny so we had sunblock on. I dragged my father along just so he could experience it. It was fun and all, but he managed to rub off his sunblock from his knees onto the door panal and dash area. I tried a wet cloth but it isn't removing the white-ish spots. Anyone have a suggestion on how I could remove it?
Armorall!
Man that stuff will ruin your interior! It's great for the engine compartment & that's it. I use the Zaino cleaner and then apply the conditioner. I can't find the 303 but would like to try it. for nor I too use either a wet MF towel or the Zaino leather cleaner on th panels & dash. The Zaino seems to work pretty good.
303 is sold everywhere. Strauss Discount Auto has good prices on it if you have one near you. Or you can do a forum search and find the website that sells it. You can buy it in bulk on the website.

Armor All was terrible, incredibly blotchy. I've had a lot more success with just water. Actually, the last time I washed the inside, there may have been just a drop of Zaino car wash solution in my water bucket. I'm not sure if that helped, but the inside is pretty clean.
i agree with a damp MF towel. once in a while i use Meguiars vinyl and rubber protectant onto a towel... and spread it across evenly... then turn the towel over to dry it off. Works pretty good.. not AS blotchy.. just a lil bit
