Found out something VERY interesting w/ CG
Yesterday I put coat #3 on my car and it looks fantastic. My friend had his '01 BMW 330CI in my driveway and washed it. This car has not been waxed (he neglects it) for about 6+ months.
Just for grins, My CG rag was still wet, so I Crystal Guarded his hood & trunk.
I dried my car, then his w/ a water blade, and then used a chamois on mine, then his. I then used my microfiber towel to buff out my car. After I did my hood (about 3 minutes), I went to look at the BMW, and there were NO spots. . . nothing that needed buffing. Not at all like mine, where there are "blotchy" areas that need buffing.
Now my car has 7+ coats of Zaino and when I apply CG, it needs to be buffed out. . . .alot! But the shine gets MUCH better w/ each coat.
The BMW had no wax, and only required normal drying. The shine was still REALLY good.
So I am guessing that if your car is fresh (no wax) CG application is even easier. Just wash, CG, rinse & dry. This can be done in no time.
