Default Hazy spots on paint

Hey guys,
I just got my car last weekend, it's an 07 MB. When I first saw the car at the dealer's I saw it had a few patches of this hazy glue like material in the rear bumper as well as driver side fender.
The car had just arrived to the dealership a couple for days before and they had it still in the garage and had not done PDI on it yet.
The sales guy mentioned it was glue from the shipping and that it would be all taken care of once it was cleaned up.
Fast forward to the day i bought the car, everything seemed great.
I'm hoping to do my first wash and zaino this weekend, but yesterday i was going around the car and saw 2 hazy spots on the fender I think that's where the big glue mark used to be.
I don't know if this hazy spots are remnants of the original glue mark or maybe the way they removed the glue mark was with swirl remover or compound and these showed up because of it.
Again when i got the car i did not see this, probably cos it was just waxed/polished and now 2 rainfalls later i see it.
Do you think this would "come off" with the zaino/claybar i was planning this weekend? Should I try some other type of polish on that small area?
I'm really not experienced with using swirl removers /PC/ or wet sanding but I'm afraid of taking it to get this done for just 2 small hazy spots and risking someone messing things up even more. or creating a swirled area in that spot that would probably stand out more than the 2 small haze spots....
Any suggestions are welcome.....I'll try to get some pics although its kind of hard to see but at the right angle i should be able to catch them.

Hard to tell without pics, but it is very possible they didn't get it all off. If that's the case bring it to the dealership and they have stuff that is designed to take off the glue, and it's on their head, not yours. There are ways you can do it pretty easily, but I would just let the dealer deal with it, and if it is indeed a paint defect they will need to take care of it.

as long as it is ON the surface and not a clearcoat hazyness then you should be able to remove it. If your not sure, and can't seem to get any help on here, go by a bodyshop and just ask someone. they should be able to point you in the right direction since they can actually put their hands on it.

pics would help if it will show up. But try using a folded up cotton cloth with just a basic wax solution first. if that doesn't work, try a wax/cleaner. Meguirs (sp) makes a great wax/cleaner combo. Anything harsher then that and you are risking swirls. Swirls are no big deal at all, but you have to know how to remove them. You could try a bug/tar remover as well, but be sure to wax it after the fact.

Good luck, get us some pics tho

If you want to do it yourself go out and get an adhesive remover from your local auto store (test on an inconspicuous spot first) I forget the name of the stuff I used when I removed some badging of my old car. Wax/polish wont do anything since a wax/polish isn't really applied to remove junk from paint. If it's overspray from the factory you can try taking a clay bar to it and see what results you get. I say since it's a new car, and the dealer prepped it let them deal with it. That way if they ask if you did anything to it you can honestly say no, and they have to make it right. (Plus it's no money out of your pocket)

+ 111!! If there are imperfections, is up to the dealer to put your 07 right. But post us some photos, so we can help advise you.

Hey guys, its hard to take a picture of it because of the light i guess, also even if you were looking straight at the area unless the light is hitting a certain way it's hard to see it....but here's what I was able to get. I circled in red the small smudges. Like i said, looks almost like a fingerprint. The top one is about the same size but i think it looks a bit bigger, blurrier cos of the light....
Sorry the pic isnt great...i'll try with different light maybe in the afternoon.
Again if i could get it off myself I might rather do that...the dealer is an hour away so due to work its not cwery easy to get there on a whim.....and also I'm afraid they might take some rough stuff to try to take it off and then two little marks may turn into two messes...

Okay Louis, those pictures are just fine. Shows just what we needed to see. You can definitely see hazzing. I side with Billhyco on this one. Apply a good quality cleaner wax (whatever your favoured brand is), just a small amount onto a VERY soft cloth (preferably microfibre) and GENTLY have a go at the effected areas!!!! Obviously remove the excess cleaner wax then apply fresh wax over the whole panel, let dry, remove excess.

If this doesn't do it, I'd say you're going to have to phone up the dealer and make an appointment for them to sort it out.
