Default Has anyone tried/heard about spongetech

I saw an ad in the paper today about Spongetech, it is a patented sponge with wash and wax built in and is supposed to last 8 or more car washes. I think that it seems interesting (and cheap if it lasts 8 washes), but I am very skeptical. Has anyone on here ever tried this?

the link is www.spongetech.com and has a nice little vid of a girl washing a car on it.

Haven't heard of it but in general, sponges are NOT recommended for washing your car.

I use a microfiber wash mit on the car most of time. I'd be skeptical on how well it would work though. I'm thinking if it holds in soap it probabaly also holds in dirt particles as well.

Maybe they are cousins to Sponge Bob Square Pants, he sucks at washing cars as well.
