Question Need help removing scratches. All help is appreciated

Yesterday as I was leaving the gym I noticed someone left me a little present on my hood (see pics below ). I'm about to spend $300+ on a Porter Cable & all of the accessories hoping to remove the scratches. What is the best way to remove the scratches? Will glaze & polish accomplish the job or will need some rubbing compound (or any other product that will do the job)? Thanks for your help!

Bit hard to see from the photos. Don't look like you'd be able to feel them with your finger nail, so I'd suggest something like TurboWax Scratch Remover; http://www.turbowax.com/product.php?...t=0&bestseller

Give directions on the site too.

That should hide those scratches if they're reasonably light.

Looks like a polish will do the job. Glaze you use after a polish job. Try using a medium polish and work it for awhile in that area. Should take most of it away. You can polish twice if needed. Then use a finishing glaze.
