Those with the California dust thingy
A few quick questions.
I use mine everyday and it is starting to get dirty.
Are you supposed to clean it? - the advertising leads me to
believe otherwise.
And if so, how do you clean it exactly - ie. detergent??
Will likely buy another one tonight and keep the one I'm using
now and use it exclusively for the underbody areas and wheels.

It's supposed to work better the dirtier it gets. The question is WHEN is it too dirty to use on the car. That's unknown. Yes you can wash them in a mild soap solution (like what you use for your car).
Yes, use 2.
Yes, use 2.

I have had mine for about 7 years now and it is, for the most part, BLACK. They start out red BTW. It works just as well now as the day I got it. Better now (like the ad says) since it no longer leaves those little spots of parafin wax on the car.
I wouldn't use the same one on the wheels or underbody and then use it on the car. I'd worry about scratches and swirl marks.
I have NEVER washed mine. I don't really see the need or advantage to doing so.
