Default Removing wax from clear bra edge

The subject says it all. The dealer buffed and waxed my car and now there is some residue dried wax along the edge. So now the bra shows up from a distance due to the white line across my hood. I think I remember reading that rubbing alcohol gets it off, but didn't want to do anything without checking here first.

Thanks

You might want to send a pm to TXSTYLE, the first time i saw his car, he had a little wax buildup, but it wasn't as noticable the second time, so he might have some good input.

Try using a toothpick and gently scraping off the wax

Soften it in water first. Even a really soft terry towel and your fingernail will work.

I have used a toothpick with a microfiber towel draped over it. You hold the two together and run them along the edge of the line.

I use an old, soft-bristle toothbrush, easy to hold, won't scratch anything.

Ok cool. So there is no chance of having the bra peel up using a toothpick?. I'll probably do the toothpick/thin towel thing because I'd be afraid of the toothpick scraping the clearcoat.
Thanks guys
