well, i would personally never put a car cover on outside where people can actually see if i had a car cover unless i lived in house. A car cover on a car in an apartment complex, townhouse complex or something with a public parking lot like that is plain stupid to me. It would give theives more curiosity to see what is underneath the car cover, or they can break into your car while under the car cover, and you won't be able to see a thing because of the car cover.

For protection from debris scratches or bird etching, just try to keep a good sealant and wax on the paint after a good polish. It's hard to prevent things like that but a little help is better than no help.

That would be a neat trick getting the car cover back on from inside the vehicle. I have the Nissan cover and it fits preaty tight over the car. I have mine locked and bungied anyways

i do too and i can just lift it a bit to get in my door, the tightness of the carcover always falls right back to place when i close the door.

It pains me to hear that you can't park it inside a garage. Sometimes there's no other option when you don't have a garage. Hope a car cover helps you on this.

I have the Nissan cover. This is my second. The car is covered at home and at work. Wind, rain and shine. Very pleased.

Not proof but resistant. If it rains really hard there will be some moisture on the car when you take off the cover but it will not be soaked

No. It is water resistant. There is a disadvantage to a waterproof cover. Condensation under the cover. That car would always be wet in the morning.

DavidV has anyone ever messed with your vehicle or the cover? I'm asking because the condo development I just moved into had problems with kids egging people's cars.

My car has been vandalized several times. In all cases, the car was not covered. When covered, no one has attempted to remove the cover, nor has the Z been vandalized.
