Which machine poisher?
I have'nt used a polisher/buffer before, and have been using Zaino. Would investing in a polisher make that much difference in a shine that's already hard to beat? If anyone uses a polisher with Zaino, when do you use it? After you've applied and removed the Zaino, sort of like a final buffer? Also, I've been to the ProperAutoCare website and they mention the Dual-Action (does'nt remove swirls or scratches,6,000 rpm), circular (also removes swirls and scratches, but for the more advanced user(can be speed governed),and cyclo dual-head. So 1) Do you invest in one if you use Zaino, and when do you use it? 2) Which make and model would you recommend? I'm leaning towards the Porter-Cable dual-action 7424, since I've seen it mentioned, but they say it won't remove scratches. How about a little advice" Thanks
I have a Cyclo Polisher and think it works great! I haven't used it on my Z yet, but it has done a nice job on my other cars. In actuality, you'll probably get good results from either of the ones you mentioned. Just be careful and make sure you don't get any grit on the bonnets. Good luck!
