Default Cleaning Gatorade out of perforated leather seats

Yes, I'm an idiot. Cross threaded the cap and the result was gatorade into all the little holes in my leather on an 06 touring.

I soaked up as much as I could, but I really think I need to uncover the seat or what ever to clean out the padding really well.

And suggestions on what I should do? Or a link to a tutorial on getting the leather off the seat? (I'm thinking this is what I need to do, but if not please let me know!)

Regards,

Steve

use a portable steamer and dab it with a dry cloth. i wouldnt take the cover off. you'll never get it back on! the steam should break it up enough so you can soak it into a towel.

p.s. was it fruit punch?

Thanks,

That sounds like a good idea. And no on the fruit punch. It was Fierce Berry I think. One of the clearer ones.

Don't take off cover, you might need professional to put them back ( if you want OEM fit)

well i had a gum stick on my leather seat before. ( not on 350z, was on Acura)
so i bought a zippo gas ( refill from walmart ) it worked for me. it came out really clean.

put gas on clean towel and wipe it

or..

try go to car wash place.
