When my car came in they put on the paint sealant and there are a few bad scuffs on my car. IMO I would never let a dealer detail my car.

Your dealer is probably the one that gave you the swirl marks to begin with. I would not take it there.

I went to a dealership the other week who was trying to sell a 400 dollar "Evironmental Package" - paint sealant - WAX. It was already on the Z and I was soo disappointed. There is no way in hell I'd let the dealer sell me a 400 dollar paint sealant job. I even looked carfully at the Z and it already had a nick in the front bumper.

Don't get it!!!

DO NOT let them touch the car, do it your self.

All dealer paint sealants are HUGE scams, they have been reported, time and time again, lawsuits ALL over the country, you name it. Just do a search on Google by typing in "dealership paint sealant scams"

These scam deals ought to be reported to Nissan, it gives the dealership a cheap money hogging image, most all dealerships around me do not do it any longer.
